XaaS

What does XaaS mean?

XaaS, or “everything/anything as a service,” is a collective term that covers the three tiers of cloud computing:

  • SaaS (Software as a Service): Applications you use directly, without needing to install or maintain them.
  • PaaS (Platform as a Service): The foundation for developing and deploying software, without managing the underlying hardware.
  • IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service): Access to computing resources like storage and networking on demand and without owning physical equipment.
